Default Recon Shifter

Hi all, I'm hoping someone with a service manual can help me out. My original foot shifter on my 07 Recon has loosened on me a couple of times without doing any damage to the splined shaft that it is on. I recently bought a new shift lever and bolt and would like to know that torque specification and whether loctite is supposed to be used. I'm getting ready for a trip to Hatfield McCoy and don't need any parts loosening while I'm there.
Thanks

I'm at work and my manual is at home. I'd say loctite and about as tight as a head bolt.
