Exclamation 87 trx350d help!!!!

Hi everyone luck just droped 2 atvs in my lap for helping clear out an old barn. one is a suzuki quadrunner , that im already riding around the yard , it just needed the carb cleaned. the other is a Honda trx350d with no spark, this atv is built like a tank i cant wait to ride this thing, does anyone have a wiring schematic or troubleshooting guide. i have been trying 2 find one with no luck. my email is jdbear1982@yahoo.com and one more question is this a fourtrax or a foreman? i have seen it called both

No spark, take your coil off and take to a dealer and ask them to check it, and I will look and see if I have a scematic if I do I will get it to you.

like honkaw said check the coil first then check your stator if your coil is good make sure there is nothing grounding to the frame like bare wires and it is a fourtrax

I would check the wiring for any damage and make sure all connections are clean and tight. If the wiring is good then try disconnecting the kill switch connector and check for spark. I have the wiring diagram for the '87 Trx250 but not the 350.

ok so im really pulling my hair out now. i found some info on how to check the cdi and what the coil should ohm out to and what the pulse generator should ohm out to. they were all within spec,i checked the entire harnes ohmed out the grounds and cleaned them , still no spark , so i checked the pulse generator output and its only putting out .5 volts, now i dont know to much about these but i think it should put out more voltage then half a volt. so i removed the left side engine cover and checked the pulse generator and the wiring. they looked ok no broken wires. so i put it all back togather . pushed the start button and shocked the crap out of myself! i was holding the sparkplug against the cyl head but with my non insulated plyers. anyway after swearing for a minute i screwed the spark plug back into the head , sprayed a little break cleaner into the carb pushed the start button and nothing, i was so mad!. i thought i was finally going to hear this beast run . now im thinking now its the pulse generator . i found one on ebay for $26 and im ordering it tomorrow. if that doesnt fix it, it will be forsale soon
