Question how can i get moer top speed 2000 foreman 450

hi I love my foreman 450s 4x4 but i find it is geared way to low. the top seed i can get to with it is 40mph. it seams to have plenty of torque but if u get over 50 km an **** it seams to be reving way to high. it seams like it needa another gear. is thair a high gear kit for them.? thanks for your time and help

Maybe larger 26" tires, the lightest ones you can fine. Since the 450 OHV motor only makes about 24hp it could make it slower. My 2001 450 Foreman did 45 mph.

high speed + full time 4wd = dissaster.........its a workmachine not a race bike....just hate to see someone get hurt on these

My forman(2002) use to do 50 when it was new but now around 45 is good, but its not full time 4wd either. Your not going to gain alot of speed on that atv. You can add pipe, jet kit and air cleaner. If you want to go fast get a 2wd 650 or the 800cc ride they offer. Speed on a ultily WILL get you hurt. They are not made for it.
