A 250 4 stroke with a 2.7 tank should get at least 75 miles. My heavy pig 500 Utility gets 20mpg, I hate strapping extra gas cans along for the ride also, must be worst yet on a small sport ATV.

Yeah, we had no problems whatsoever with running out of gas at all. I tanked up both of them, and we rode at least 25 miles, and barely used a 1/4 tank of gas. Gotta have a good 80 mile range, I would think. We didn't ride hard---it was mostly road riding at 1/4-1/2 throttle.
