2010 Honda Rincon?
#31
I own 4 atv's. 2 450 Foreman ES and 1 650 and 1 680 Rincon. I havn't had any trouble from any of them. I love the Rincon. It rides smooth Handles great and after riding 450 foreman for years the Rincon seems very quick to me. The only thing I miss on the rincon is Engine braking!

If your looking for a realiable machine buy the Honda, IT The Rincon 680 was also the most boring machine I ever rode, NO FUN FACTOR...Down on power, poor stock ground clearance, No eps, low gear and that terrible automatic car tranny.. It also has no engine braking for going down steep hills..Thing would get stuck on a wet cow turd...Rant over..

In this ATV Television review they call the 3 speed Rincon tranny Silly and there pro Honda also you get to see the 3wd ill effects many times in the video.
A big Bore ATV that should not be worked, makes little sense to them,Honda even recommends buying the smaller mid bore 500 if work is your thing.
Its a 2003 review but the tranny and dive train never changed its what you will get in 2011 .

CVT = POOP they work on snowmobiles because of friction issues you know they drag on the ground so shifting is kinda stoopid. I mean why arent motorcycles CVT? or hell my car? that would be awesome they work so good and are so so so reliable the mostest reliablest. I HATE the I pulled him out of the mud WOW!!! You big mud puller man.. well I went out 2 weekends ago and I went through a hole with a 300 honda 4x4 and that everyone got totally stuck in I'm not sure what that means EXCEPT I guess the 300 honda is the best damn mud atv ever!!!! lol I mean cmon with its 23 inch tires its easy to see why it's such a MUD beast!!! Just saying MUD performance is not a good indicator of performance really or I guess maybe when I go riding I don;t really try to hit the deepest hole out there to be honest I hate all the maintenance required when you drive in the mud and water all the time. I've seen all quads get stuck in all different stuff and seen the same quad go through a rediculous mud hole the same day it's alot of the drivers ability to control momentum and choose the right line. And on another note because this is a RANT! I hate the way all those giant mud tires totally ruin all the trails around my place I mean seriously deep *** ruts everywhere??? It's no wonder alot of land owners hate these damn atv's when you dig a 3 foot ditch across the backsides of thier fields!!! Anyway I'm at work and it's so nice out I'm just kinda grouchy!!! Seriously though it's not even the reliability that I hate about CVT is the way they feel they are always revving high they feel clunky! They aint right! You know why honda people are on a high horse?? Cuz they are reliable!! They work right day after day! Dood polaris and kawasaki can barely go a month without a complete overhaul!!! I mean the things that go wrong with them are things I've never heard of on a ATV half the time. I have seen a couple people with polaris have decent luck but kawasaki OMFG they should just quit making wheelers. I mean Jeez if someone buys a atv for the first time if they bought a bruteforce HOLY COW they are gonna think ATVs dont stay out of the shop!!! I say this because I've had one and my friend still has one and we HATE it!!! welp ive run my mouth enough and if I offended anyone i'm sorry but I SPEAK THE TRUTH!!!
OK, so you don't like CVT, good for you. I do, and apparently, so do alot of other riders out there. Yup, I do pull my Honda riding buddy out of mud alot... There's a good amount of mud where we ride. No way around it except to widen the trail and lose it's use when the landowner gets pissed. Because of this they put up fences on the trail. So you have through the mud. It's part of the reason you dont see alot of sport quads on the trails up here. Or alot of 2WD utilities.
Can't argue with the Honda reliability thing.. they're maybe the best engine manufacturer on the planet, and I love their sportbikes, but the utility quad lineup is dated and underpowered (and 3WD).
Niether of my Polaris's have ever been to the shop except for one recall, which took 20 minutes and out the door. And my little Kawasaki has been about bulletproof for 9 years now. Yup, they're obviously junk.
I can now see that you're one of those: My brand is god made perfection, and the other guy, if he's not on my brand, well his is sh*t types. There will be no arguing with you, as you are the next incarnation of Reconranger and like him, your opinions are the only ones that will be right, because, well, YOU SPEAK THE TRUTH!!!!!! Good luck with that whole being right about everything all the time thing.

I myself bleed Honda red also. But I'm on the same boat when you say that every manufactor makes different but great machines in there own way. I have a honda 400ex and rancher es, would never sell them for anything. But, I also have a cat 700 thats an absolute beast. My brother just bought a 2008 rincon, one hell of a machine in its own way also. I like the gearing features with the esp and auto in the rinnys. Being able to control your gearing is great. When speaking of gearing, I believe the RUBICONS can not me matched in there class. My ol man' just bought an '10 sportmans 800, one hell of a machine too. I believe all machines are unique in there own way and its not the make or model, its how you take care of them and ride them. A machine can last forever with proper care. Granite, you may have 1-2 flaws throughout its lifespan. Personally, a Honda Rubicon would be my weapon of choice.

You guys are so huffy am I not allowed so go off at the mouth I thought thats what these forums are for? Actually why are you non honda people even in this forum? I would never goto another forum and rag on thier brand. I'm in the honda forum raggin on the other brands I don't see the problem? Perhaps you should think about why you are in here argueing with me LOL

I didn't know there was a brand specific membership requirement... my bad. Better tell D57H too, as he has only Yamaha's, and posts all over the place. And TLC, and more than a few others.
To expect no retaliation when mothereffing another brand is a bit ridiculous, isn't it? No matter where I post, if I say a bad thing about any other brand, I'm ok with getting flamed a bit. But when someone puts forth a well thought out, well written argument stating his opinions, without getting chippy about things, I'm more than willing to see it from more than one point of view.
As stated before, I don't have all bad things to say about Honda. I like the way the Rincon drives, and no, you can't argue with the reliability. It's the only brand I haven't dragged out of the woods broken down. But there are things I can criticize. Honda's premier flagship ute has less HP than the Can AM 500, or the 550 XP. No front locker. And (this goes for almost all quads) crap stock tires.
Oh, and I started riding on a 200X, and moved up to a Big Red. Yup, I used to have Honda's too.
