i have a question for you all, my 85 atc 3 wheeler has no spark. the wire that comes out of the case and goes to the coil, if you test that with a test light is it supposed to blink on and off when you pull start it or is it supposed to stay lit. right now it stays lit. if the points are bad, how do i take the flywheel off to get to the points? i really need your help. my son is getting annoyed with me and i dont really have the funds to take it somewhere. please any help would be great.

 

these dont have points, and dont have a flywheel. its internally balanced (if im not mistaken) i'd say its your coil, or CDI box. both can be expensive to fix, but i cant think of a way to tell which it is.
