Hi there I have a 2005 trx 400ex, and only has at the most 30 to 50 hrs i havent riden it in a couple of years an i tried rurning it, but it just doesnt turn whats the first thing i should do on it. i know it sounds dumb but i really dont have much experience riding. I would really apreciate your help thanks

 

What do you mean by it dosen't turn? As in when you try to start it by the button nothing happens.

 

it wants to turn on but just doesnt stay on i thoght maybe it would be the fuel or something

 

if its been sitting for a long time the first thing I would do is go out and get a new spark plug...but before you install it take the carb off and clean it really good cuz you probably have a sludge deposit in it...and get rid of whatever gas is in the tank.

 

yeah i changed the gas and it turns on but doesnt stay on but ill change the spark plug and check the carb. thanks guys for ur help ill keep posted hopefuly it would work
