Custom lift kit

I want to lift my 87 fourtrax 250 but I cant find any kits for it. Am I able to just put on some longer shocks to raise it 2-3 inches? Or does any one know if there is another kit that would work for it.

you could use longer shocks, but make sure its not putting the driveshaft at an angle, which would cause it to bind up.
