Default 2005 Honda TRX350TE

I have a 2005 Honda TRX350TE. My electric start quit working and wont start unless I pull start it. I was told to buy a cylinode(could be spelled wrong) ...so i put it in and nothing....why wouldnt even the lights turn on.

I pulled start it and then the lights turn on and got it to shift and now it quit and now it wont go so i can down shift it. How do i get it into neutral?

PLEASE HELP!!

Yes batt. or connections,,if you look on your left side [ sitting on atv] inside of mud guard at bottom back of engine you will see an shaft about 4 inches long sticking out with an hex type head on it that is an manual shift to use for temp.service, you should have an hand shift tool in trunk up inside top under white plastic flap! if not use and 12mm socket will work BUT you may have to rock atv back and forward to get it to shift to neutal...
