Honda Rancher Cylinder Sleeve Loose
I am currently in the process of rebuilding the "top" end of my 2005 Honda Rancher 350TE due to it smoking. After removing the head, piston, and cylinder I noticed that the cylinder sleeve would slide out of the cylinder assembly easily. Does anyone know if this is normal? I thought the sleeve would need to be pressed out? Could this be the reason it is smoking?

im gonna say, this was definately not good for it, and the sleeve could have caused very bad damage to the crank, ect, if it was this loose. inspect everything good, and buy an oversized jug. your sleeve shouldnt have been loose. so, more then likely you need an oversized jug, which you could find at an atv shop, or you might (keyword, might) get a really good atv mechanic to repair your jug.
