Jeff,
Thanks for the advice. I am tring to figure out what you mean about the "little round housing below the ****." Do you mean below the choke ****?
You are corect about the key on for a few and use of the primer - that does get them started, but what a pain the _s_ to keep them running. I will try to find what you are talking baout and maybe keeping the choke on will help.
The EFI Grizzly takes a push of a button then I'm bike inside having coffee while the quad warms up.

Yeah, I like the poke-the-button in any weather starts on the Rincon, too.
Regarding the choke, yeah I mean the little housing the cable and **** pull out of. Just twist that to get more or less friction to your liking.
There seems to be a pretty big difference between carb Hondas when it comes to starting. My Foreman starts easily and runs smoothly on it's own, where a buddy's 650 Rincon is more finicky.
If it were too bad, I think I'd turn up the idle mixture just a bit. Often there is a plug to prevent tampering with that screw, but it can be removed by drilling a pilot hole and threading a tiny sheet metal screw in, and yanking the plug out.

The new TRX420PG comes with power steering and fuel injections, so that should solve the cold weather problems. Does anyone have any experience with this particular quad? ( Thinking of buying one.)
