Honda Reliability

Just wondering if everyone's Honda is as reliable as mine has been? It's a 2005 Rancher ES 4x4. 8760 miles with the original tires. Driven every day. Angle sensor was replaced at 1 year under recall. Only issue it has ever had has been getting some trashy gas and having to rebuild the carb about three years ago. $80. Plus $20 a year for oil changes. 6 great trouble-free years.

I sold my 2001 450 foreman E.S to a friend 4 years ago so I still ride and ride with it alot, it needs tires now but has been great. I hear the stories about the ES problems but that has not happened to this one yet even though its the 1st generation ES. I hear the new ES had some improved upgrades. I quess I just got lucky?

I pulled the neighbors 1984 trx200 out of the barn where it had been sitting for 2 years, poured in some gas, pulled started it and it fired on the first pull. This quad has been USED, plastics are pop rivited together, hand painted green and sittin for 2 years. new battery, cleaned gas tank and carb. This thing purrs like a kitten!!!!

I ride all the time in V.T..... The trails are nothing but huge boulders and old river beds and beaver ponds... Depending on the trail it could take all day to put on 40 miles..( that is of course taking some cocktail breaks)... My father in law has a 1998 formen 450S with just about 7000 miles in this rough terrain that he keeps just for a spare wheeler and it still going strong. my 450S has 3000 miles on it. I'm just started to get a little skip in it. Hoping it's bad gas.

I had a 2005 Rancher 4x4 with a foot shift that I traded last year for the 07 Rubicon I have now and it never let me down.
I installed a 424 on the machine as well as front disc brakes and the Honda shop sold that Rancher 2 days later after I traded it in.

i have an old 300, i dont even know what year model it is. i drug it out of the weeds, rebuilt the rearend and top end of the motor, i bet it has every bit of 20,000 + miles. the timing chain actually wore until it jumped. that takes alot of miles. i now ride it daily and have, for 3 years problem free.
