Starter won't stop turning over
The starter on my Honda 300 Fourtrax continues to stay engaged even after I have released the starter button, turned off the kill switch, and turned off the ignition key. I put in a new starter, new solenoid, new neutral switch, and a new battery, but still have the problem. The only way I can get the starter to stop turning is to disconnect the ground terminal from the battery. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Its sounds like you have put alot of parts on it already.IMO the starter clucth is staying engaged that behind the flywheel. its an one way bearing that free wheel when engine is running and lock in engage when engine stops, this alouds the gears to be in right location to start when engine starter button is push to stsrt.

Also if you think its is electical i would double check your starter wire and batt pos wire .it is very easy to get the two wires crossed up when installing starter . check wires from soleniod to starter make sure starter wire runs to soleniod on one side [big wire]and batt.pos to the other side, these wires looks the same but not and easy to install wrong.
