Default fourtrax fuel line hookup

I just finished rebuilding the carburetor in my 1985 TRX250 (utility) and i noticed the fuel lines in the shop manual were set up different then they were on my quad when i got it. when i got my quad it had a vent line on the left side and the line from the bottom of the float bowl went to the right side of the carb is this correct?

don't worry about it, vent lines are just that vents, no other purpose you can run them up to the handle bars if you wanted, might be kinda funny looking but as long as it's open your good

The line form the bottom of the float bowl is for the overflow and should run straight down to the bottom of the frame. The vent on the right probably needs a new line to run with the other vents up high on the frame to keep above water level.
