Default 1986 TRX300 to like year TRX350 parts interchange

Hello! First post - looks like a great forum. Several months ago I bought an excellent running 1986 TRX - Foreman 350 4WD with little use. The downside was that it was missing the front fender assembly, seat, air-box, and some assorted minor parts. I have since found the seat and air-box on ebay, but had no luck at all with the fenders. I actually bought a pair of cheap trailer fenders that will accommodate the tires, which I was about to cut down and improvise mountings for. I just found a local listing for an '86 TRX 300 4WD for very cheap. It's not running, but it does have all it's parts, and the body plastic appears to be in at least repairable (if not great) shape. My question for the group is whether anyone here has specific knowledge of parts interchange between these two machines, particularly body parts. My speculation is that there should be a lot of common parts, but my logic and that of Honda Motor Company (as good as their vehicles are) frequently do not intersect. Many thanks in advance for any help provided.
