stating problems on trx450fm

Default stating problems on trx450fm
i got a 2003 trx450fm that has a brand new starter button switch and when u hit the button it does nothing. i was wondering if u have to use the exact starter solenoid or can i just use a universal solenoid.

Not sure if it is the same as a 400ex but if it is we just bought a soleniod from a auto parts store and it worked fine it was also way cheaper then a OEM honda one.

When you hit the start button, does it make a clicking sound?
