rumor is not in this economy, all of us over at thumpertalk.com were hopeing for a EFI CRF450X and it looks like the only thing changed for that bike is the graphics. fingers crossed though, man honda ATV's havent changed much since the new rancher! Hit up hondanews.com for the latest info

 

Honda has so many 2009 trx450er's still in stock that they won't release a new 450R until they sell the old stock.
I've heard talk that they have a new 450r already developed, they're just waiting to rid themselves of the existing 450r's.

Honda has never been an industry leader, other than maybe their 700XX or the non-belt-drive auto transmission...their R&D is great, they just don't follow up with production until someone else has done it first (or so it seems)
