I am selling my blaster and buying a 250x.the reason I am doing this is because it is a honda I know it will be reliable and I need brakes and room compared to my blaster.Plus if I get my 250x I will be able to mod it un like my dad's 300ex.

I heard that the 87's had a prob with 3rd gear but other than that they are fine.I was looking at cycletrader.com and prices ranged from 2800 to 950.What was the last year they made them?I think it is 1992 then it went to 300ex right?

my advice go find one that smokes. Be like, well it needs a new top end. thats pistons, rings, valve seats, valves, and labor cost. I'll give you....1,000 for it

thats what i did and i got a 1991 that all it needed was some heavier oil ran in it!

yeah, 87s did have that 3rd gear problem...
