Letter to honda about Rubicon UPDATED 7-15-01
#82
RubiconLand- man i don't mean to be picky, but you said that your teacher proof read that letter. i did not even get past the first sentence and found a problem. you may want to look at it again. if you need help, let me know.
if you send a professional letter with many mistakes, it will more likely to be taken less seriously. check that letter out and make the appropriate changes.
just trying to help.

RubiconLand-
I am no English major either. I had many English classes in high school and college though. If you can give me until Tuesday, I will print it out and correct it. There are many "little" mistakes and confusing sentences. Like I said, I am here to help you out. I hate seeing fellow quad owners in trouble. We, as a "family", need to stick together to get what we rightfully deserve. Let me know if you would like me to fix it up for you.

Not that it matters but your bike was probably built on a Friday afternoon and not a Monday. Unit counts are generally calculated weekly and it sounds like they needed a few more units done so they could go home. Reminds me of that movie with Michael Keaton where they make cars.
Sorry to hear of your problems. Yamaha's support sounds exactly the same for all the Raptor problems.

On Sept. 14 I finally picked up my rubicon from its 5 thime to the shop for the tranny problems I've had sence may 2001. so far no problems but I've only put 50 miles on it so far. after this last visite to the shop and honda replacing 3000 dollors in parts they may have finally fixed it. at least i hope so

I commend you on persisting and refusing to take NO for an answer. I'd like to commend Honda for stepping up to do what's right, but it is hard to do that when they make you jump through so many unnecessary and unreasonable hoops to get good service. You may know this already, but many of us felt like you were representing problems we have had, and feel good about your success. By rights, you deserve ten excellent hours of riding for every hour you spent getting the Rubi fixed. You da man!
