i have a 2007 honda rincon 680, and i want to make it faster. Just want some tips on the best way to do that!

 

Friend of mine has a 680 and bought a after market Pipe, he told me he felt a definite improvement,not sure what kind it was though.

 

Pull it with a Yamaha !!! lol

 

Pipe and a EFI controller is really the only way to get extra out of it.. but ive heard that its mostly not worth it unless you got a ton of cash sitting around =)

 

How fast will a stock Rincon go? It amazes me how many threads I see where guys are worried about making an ATV faster. I have been riding them for a lot of years and don't think I have ever gotten one above 40.....too many trees in my way!

Most I know that spent the big bucks for a pipe & controller felt it was a waist. They ended up taking it off & selling it again. The Rincon is not a speed machine. It has about the same HP as a Sportsman 500. It is a trail quad. If you want more power then get a big bore unit.

 

It is harder to hop up a OHV motor vs the more common OHC every other ATV uses. Its the reason Honda Utility ATV have the lowest HP per cc. A OHV motor is just not ment to rev like OHC.

 

I just checked, and HMF makes a pipe for your Rincon.

 

I would'nt waste your hard earned bucks on making a Rincon faster, just is not the quad to put that amount of $$ into for such little ''seat of the pants'' increase in speed.
