Default 88 TRX300 No spark

I have wrung out all wires from front to back and have continuity on all.Have performed all resistance tests and all check good. Have swapped the CDI and alarm with known good units. Swapped alt/rect with known good unit and still no spark.Any help would be appreciated. I have searched this site for the last 3 hours for reference. Thanks in advance.

Well if you have power or signal to the cdi and not getting power or signal off of cdi to the coil than cdi or harness or spade or connector. did you do test on wire ends [connuity]from cdi to coil to see if wire is broke?PS Was the known good cdi the same year? the 1988 got to be only 1988 cdi if oem one.

Pappa, went back over the whole harness again for the third time.Continuity throughout, all good.Went back over all of the Ohm requirements for each component, all good. I remembered seeing a post on beating the crap out of the CDI,so I picked one-beat the crap out of it,plugged it in and it has a bright blue spark.Plugged in my other known good one(I thought) it didn't spark. So after pulling my hair out and diligently going through the whole harness 4 times (I am a 30 year airframe and powerplant mechanic and pilot) the Large hammer won me over.New CDI ordered and on the way. Thank you for the interest this is a great forum and has helped me several times.
