A good friend almost lost here daughter due to taking a 4 wheeler out in the yard for two seconds.

 

I agree, my daughter's little 70 cc atv caught a rock going down a hill and tossed her right off. She had a snell approved helmet on though and walked away with just a few scraps and some tears in her eyes. If that helmet would not have been on it would have been bad as the helmet had a big gouge out of it. Always put a helmet on your kids and yourself as well, it's cheap insurance.

Thats how it happens. We lost a kid last weekend. Rode all freakin day, crazy cool stuff and then...... one last trip around to load up the bike no need for a helmet on a 50 foot ride right? and ka POOF! broken neck. I'd like to see those football player neck rolls to sorta stabilize the helmet to the shoulders too.
