Default Carb spring mod

I did the carb spring mod today. Don't think it gives the rincon and shocking change. You are not going to go from no wheelies to wheelies just by this mod, but hey it it is a free mod and a bit better throttle response. I am curious, I have done the spring mod and have a 2" tip on the exhaust, and a UNI filter should I be re-jetting? I don't really find that the bike is in need of it because of poor running, but I am curious if rejetting would make any big changes? I know On my crf 250 dirtbike I bought a JD Jetting kit. It came with fool proof instructions as to which jet and how to adjust air screw, does anyone have any ideas for the rincon?

in my own opininon i would buy a jet kit for any carburetor on my ATVs because they do add about 10% performance.

The clipped spring, Uni filter, and tip aren't likely to change the mixture much.

They are jetted lean from the factory, though, for emission reasons so you could probably pick up a little power from a jet kit. Might also result in a slight drop in MPG though.

Do you guys have any suggestions on what to go with for jets? I have heard and seen people pulling wheelies with the rincons and mine will not? It is not that I want to wheelie all day, I had my fun with that when I had my dirtbike. I just don't know if I am missing out on something. Thanks

If you were going to do jets, I'd get one of the dynojet kits or something similar, and use what the directions suggest for what you are running.

I think you would really have to pull up hard on the bars to get the Rincon to wheelie. It is pretty high geared.

Though the Rincon's power can be bumped up with aftermarket stuff, personally I wouldn't get into the internal engine mods so as not to mess up reliability. Plus it will never have the kind of power one of the 800+cc twins puts out.

Yes, I agree! I don not want to get into any internal mods. I just know that alot of times the way atvs, motocross, etc. come from manufacture they are not set to full potential. I will likely get a dyno jetkit, and then end there. I was just not sure after reading and seeing people doing wheelies on their rincons, that mine needed to be tweaked or something was wrong? Do most people use dynojet?

You would really have to use some body english to get mine to pull the front end up.

If it runs fine otherwise, I don't think anything is actually wrong with it. Mine's fuel injected and stock, but I suspect the dynojet is among the more popular jet kits.
