Default Stock rim sizes for 2004 Rincon

I am just curious as to what the stock rim sizes are on a 2004 Rincon? I have searched and found a few different sizes? I would like to get some new rims for my Rincon (Black with a little chrome--if there are any suggestions) I would like to stay with the stock size as most of my riding is on the trail the odd mud hole when I come to it. Thanks

They are both 12" rims. The rear uses a 10" wide tire and the front uses a 8" wide.
Front Tire (Full Spec) OhtsuŽ 25 X 8-12
Rear Tire (Full Spec) OhtsuŽ 25 X 10-12

just wondering? I have been looking at some pictures of atvs with different rims. Do many people run the same size front tire as the back or does it just look like it? If so does it affect the atv at all?

Some people do that, perhaps with an eye for more traction, but I don't think it would help out handling much.

What kind of riding are you doing/what kind of tires are you looking at?

I really like the Bighorns as an all around tire. They do really well in rock and dry conditions, ride smooth, wear like iron, and are much better than the stock tires in mud and snow. They tend to wander a bit in sand, but are fine. They also handle very well.

If I didn't go with those, I think I would have run ITP Terra Cross radials. Mud Lite XTR radials would be another choice in a bit more aggressive all around tire that handles well.

I mostly do trail riding, no mud holes or anything like that. Other than if we are on a trail and we have to go through mud or water, we don't look for the biggest mud/water holes. The bike just has bearclaws on it right now and they are still in good shape. I do plan on upgrading the tired eventually. What would you suggest with my type of riding? Also would you suggest staying with the 9" wide on front?

Well, good handling is the main strong point of the Rincon, so personally I wouldn't mess that up with huge tires. There are gear down kits available to make the Rincon turn 29+ tires better, but IMHO there are better machines from which to make a dedicated mud quad.

I don't think the Bearclaws would be bad, and if I were you I'd wear them out before spending the $$$ on tires.

Any of the three radials I mentioned above would probably make you happy. Like I said I'm really pleased with the Bighorn radials, to the point I put another set on the Foreman. I went with the 25" size, which are a bit taller than the stock ones (even though they are also 25").

Yeah I agree that I will wait on buying new tires for it. I really have no interest in getting big mud tires as I don't do the mudding thing. I will take a look at the tires you suggested. Would they be the same height as the bearclaw?

I dunno how they would compare to the bear claw. Tires of the same diameter size seem to vary in actual diameter across different brands.
