I feel lucky, the battery in my 2000 400 Foreman, heck its the original one. 11 years and no problems, never thought it would last this long. Has anybody had one last this long?

Damn, that's pretty good. The battery in my Raptor is going to be 6 years old this June and I thought that was good life. 11 yrs, not too shabby!

What brand is it? Yuasa?

Since the AGM type has come out, batteries can last a long time. Frequent use or using a battery tender makes a big difference.

I believe the original equipment batteries on Hondas are Yuasa AGM type.

my rancher's battery was fine during normal use, but i got tired of having to push it in my garage during our colder days, cuz that's when i'd certainly need the plow. so after 4 years, a new battery makes those cold and snowy mornings much more reliable and convenient - easily worth the $60.
