how do i install AC nerf bars!!!! no instructions came!

i've never messed with nerf bars but how hard could it be?

its pretty straight forward.

bolt the too flat spots to the pegs..

and the 2 tabs go into the motor mount bolts..

its that easy

i didn't see anywhere on my pegs to bolt the flat part to.

there should be holes on your pegs where the old black foot guards went..if not get out the handy drill

i think ac nerfs are made so u can keep the stock foot gaurds

i just went outside to put them on
i took the mud guards off, took the motor mount bolt off and the dumb bars don't even line up
even with the supplied spacers! what am i gonna do? should i put the mud guards back on and try it like that?

Make sure you have the flat part in front of the peg, than than clamp the flat part to the peg to hold the nerf on than drill through the two pieces of metal and install bolts. Than the mud guards can stay on.

I ordered AC nerfs for my 400ex too and they didn't line up at all. I called Chaparral (where I got them) and griped. They said they were having quality control problems with the AC nerfs. I sent the AC's back and I got DG's.
Good luck...
