depending on whatever year Honda decided to change the name, they are the same thing.
The Fourtrax 300EX became the Sportrax 300EX...no changes other than the sticker, and DIRTWHEELS still runs full stories on them every year even though Honda hasn't changed anything significant since the model was created.
