today i went out to ride and the battery on my 300ex was dead, my bro was help ing me try to jump start it and i wasnt paying attion to what he was doing and he put the positive and the negitive and the negitive on positive i no the battry is cooked but do u guys think he did anything else when they were crossed.I only touched the cables 4 a sec or 2 so i dont think it really hurt anything inportant but wit my luck im probly wrong please help me!!!!

Most likely not. And if you only touched them for 1 or 2 seconds the battery may not be fried either. If the battery will take and hold a charge, count your blessings. use a small tricle charger. do not use a high charge rate on a small battery. I forgott to look and see where you are from but if you are somewhere cold like most of us, make shure your battery is not frozen before charging. A dead battery will freeze just like watter. If you try to charge a frozen battery it may explode. If you get it to take and hold the charge or replace the battery and every thing electrical seems to work properly, you most likely did not hurt anything. Good luck
