If all else fails break out the handy mans secret weapon... Duct Tape! I'd suggest the double sided kind though.

I have the ultimate grip glue.my dad brought it home from work.It even has a warning on it!I got my 909 grip for a twist throttle on my 250r stuck like cement.I just cleaned the bars and applied as much as possible without getting it all over everything and waited a night and the where on there. It took a couple times of mot puttin enough on it.Also I put a hose clamp on on them to just to make sure they where seated good.

Norcalatver,

I had the exact same problem with Oury's on Renthals. I tried hair spray, spray paint, that 3M crap, and every type of grip glue made, but I still used to lose a grip every week or two. I guess I just put the death-grip on 'em when I ride. Finally, one of the guys I race with showed me the ULTIMATE way to get those damn things to stay on for good.

What you need to do is get you some super glue gel and spread it around the inside of your grips - I'd have to recommend a stick or something other than your fingers! Then take a little gasoline and fill up the grip. Next, quickly dump the gas out and slide the grip onto the bar. It will slide on easily but move fast because it will start setting up in a hurry. Once it is set you will have to cut and sand the buggers off! I've raced an entire season of hare scrambles and they haven't moved a bit.

Regards,

Dennis

Thanks for all the information. I'm sure I'll be able to get the buggers to stay on now. Sincerely, Norcalatver

I have always made a small hole in the end of the grip, you will need to anyways if you have handlebar weights, and put a airhose inside the grip through the hole in the end and it will slide right on. By the way I have never used any type of glue and my grips have always stayed on.

Does anybody else get major cramps in there hands after a few laps around the track or wherever? I have to stretch out my hands inbetween heats just so I can go again. I know I probably need to just exercise them more, espeacially after this long winter, but I was thinking it would be nice if they made larger diameter handle bars or grips for people with bigger hands. Does anybody agree with me or am I crazy?

adjust your handle barr's. I always loosen mine and pull them toward me a tad when i buy a new bike. Custom is the key
