If you don't have one, buy yourself a multi-meter.
Then with the battery charged and everything shut off, disconnect the negative battery cable and take an amp meter reading between the cable and battery post. Start with the meter set on the 10 amp range, in case there is a major load, and reduce the range as appropriate.
A few miliamps would be normal (in which case the battery may have an internal defect). If it is above that, disconnect things one at a time until you find what makes the draw go away.
Generally Hondas are set up so that the key switch disconnects power from everything except the regulator. The key switch rarely goes bad, so the most common things I would check first would be any added aftermarket electrical stuff, followed by the regulator/rectifier unit.
If the battery has been drawn down to flat dead multiple times, or has been allowed to sit flat dead, that may have killed it. If you have 110 power available where you park the machine, a Battery Tender Jr is a great investment. They also make a waterproof version for outdoor use.
