what are the differences between a 250r, and a 2450x frame? also, i have an 87? x, and also an 84? atc250, will the 2-stroke bolt directly in without mods?

 

Without even looking at the bike i can already tell you it's not going to be a bolt on job. You are going to probly have to use a different swing arm and move the motor mounts. Look closely your swing arm pivot bolt on the ATC goes though the back of your engine, where as on your 250X it does not. Why not put the ATC engine into a 250R frame?

 

i was just curious, the atc is hashed, but has a new motor, and my x needs a new top end, after a big week in the sand last fall, and i dont really have the money to get an R frame.
