Recon oil pump

Recon oil pump
Recon motor is on workbench, and while its apart im putting in all new stuff, got new clutch and new bearings and getting ready to put together but noticed the oil pump chain is very loose and the sprocket on the oil pump is loose. Shop manual does not say anything about this that i could find, any ideas?
