Ive got a 300ex that needs the cylinder and piston completely replaced. Ive got a cylinder (stock bore) and Im considering buying a better aftermarket piston (also stock bore) The only think different about this piston is that the compression ratio is 11:1 which is higher than the ratio of a stock 300ex. The question is: Is there anything else I need to change about my engine to accomodate this piston??? This includes any adjustments or new parts i might need. Thanks

 

you shouldnt need anything most you might have to do is a little jetting but you probly wont iv done some rebuilds with performance pistons and iv never had to change anything around
