Lectron carb. on 426EX
#11
I bought a 1.5" copper coupling the kind plumber use and solder etc.. I found a radiator hose in the garage that fit over the coupling and the carb outlet side. Got two hose clamps that fit the hose. I cut the coupling a little short of in half and pushed that in the stock intake boot then slipped the carb with the hose on it onto the coupling piece straighted the carb to an upright position and tightened the clamps then put the airbox on like it goes and was done. Much cleaner and it doesn't rub the tank or sit crooked, or have to rig the snorkel tube or hang the rear box on a new mount.
