do you have any pics of the install for the winch?

 

I might- I'll have to dig in my hd to find'em- it's been a while since I've owned a sport quad.

If you want to make the drive- I can weld a plate on for you- It came out pretty nice- the winch was almost invisable, I had it tucked up under the front plastic pretty good.

 

i just bought this from a guy in douglas not that far of a drive, where would i get the plate?

 

haha- I think I know the 2nd owner of that 300ex- if it's the one I'm thinking of, you're the 4th owner...

I just made a plate to weld between the frame tubing- nothing fancy, basically just (if I can remember ) a 6" x 4" x 1/2" thick flat stock with 4 holes drilled into it for the winch... and I even welded the fairlead. (I like welding if you can't tell )

when i go to fill the tank at the gas station will the pump shut off when its full like when you fill a car up?

 

It's supposed to.

Just have to be careful when you put the hose in. If there's still fuel in the hose, you might wind up giving the tank a little gas bath.

Done that on the motorcycle before.

It might not have been registered, so the title won't show every owner. Was it on a guys lawn off lacky damn rd, right at the intersection?

I might have some flat stock- have to look in my shop when I get home.
I put a 2500lb winch on mine. Those atv's are light- don't need much to lift / yank it out of a hole...

 

no it wasn't near lacky damn rd, and he had a plate on it.
