2009 Rubicon 4-Wheel Drive?????
#1
Howdy Guys.
New on here, looks like a great site.
I have been running Honda ATV's up here in Canada for many years, they really last a long time, we put them thru the heavy going and they keep on running.
My only disappointments with them are the drum brakes, (of course) and the fact that when you are stuck the wheel with traction sits and the wheel without, spins in the air.
Is this a true four wheel drive? With only a brake on one real wheel, my buddies tell me it is essentially a 3 wheel drive. Is there an after market device I can purchase to give me four wheel traction when I need it?
Thanks for any info!

There is no rear differential. If one turns, they both turn.
The front end has a limited slip differential. Most of the time mine will spin both front wheels, but if not applying a little front brake seems to cure it.
The 09 Rubicon I believe is two front disk brakes, and a rear drum.
