"trail riding" is pretty vague.
around here, I'd say 65-70% of the trails are rock and logging trails. Not many plain smooth forest trails. I'd say any tire made with hard rubber would last the longest. Heavy tires like the itp 589's.
tires like the Maxxis bighorns probably wear out sooner with their softer rubber compound- but they might grip better on hard surfaces.

My ITP Terracross have about 6500 miles on them . I'v never had a rim leak or a flat they get used on sand , rock , gravel and paved roads . Looking them over I should get a couple more seasons out of them . I will buy again .

I had these Duro Excavator on my 350 4x4 Big Bear they seemed to wear very very slowly I must of put over 5000 miles on them. Never seen tire wear as slow as them. I had the 4ply but they also come is 6 ply.

Duro Tire and Wheel | Welcome

thanks for the help, they are for rentals.

I got about 4500 out of my big horns but my atv is in 4-wd all the time and the rears still had some tread on them.

the duros look pretty good.

Some of the guys I rode with down in Arizona had 6-8000 miles on Bighorns with useable tread left. Most of the riding there is rough rock.
