Got this in on a trade. Was told that it did run but the coil was.taken off for another quad. On the left side of the engine where it says cdi there are 2 wires that are cut, do these go straight to the coil? Thanks

 

i think they might to the stator but im not exactly sure were they lead when you follow the wires were to they lead to on it im sure they go in on the left side of the motor that goes through a cover leading to the stator take look and follow them

 

Yeah, they come out of where it says cdi on the engine

 

ok so it runs down into the case to the im pretty sure its goes to the stator i havent taken one apart in 3 weeks but if i remeber thats were they go to

with out looking at a motor to tell you i cant tell ya off the top of my head im going into work tomorrow and ill take a look and see and have an aswer for you tomorrow night

i have stripped 2 of these recently and the is a 2 wire lead coming from the harness just above where the spark plug comes off, its on the opposite side and they connect to that recepticle hanging down to where thet reach 2, so cut that off and splice this on in and you should be golden.
