The size of the racks on the 2001 Rancher?
#1
yo , fellow atver's .
i plan 2 get a 2001 Rancher 4x4 this june .
i had a 88 Mojave , she "passed on" .
but when i had her , i repainted her & stuff , & i liked the "non-factory" look.
so w/o getting into mega $ , i am thinking of ways 2 make my 2 b Rancher look different .
so i begin w/ storage boxes.
i do not want 2 get the normal plactic storage atv boxes.
i want 2 use a used military steel grenade box. they r cheap ,waterproof & kewl. the one i found is L 18" x W 8" x H 6 " .
but i need to the kno the length & width of the Ranhcers racks , front & bac ?
i ck'ed out honda.com , all i found was pics & no specs on the racks , just that they have them .
the pic i found is @

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE MEASURE THEIR 2001 RANCHER RACKS & LET ME KNO ?
thankx ..luv me [ i'm a chick , its ok ]

Front Rack- 33 1/2" wide x 12" deep.........Back Rack- 38" wide x 14" deep.
There is more rear rack space to the outside edges, but if you have something on there deeper than 13 or 14 inches then it will overlap your seat. Good luck.
