400 ex with edelbrock carb
#1
I just purchased a used 2000 Honda 400 ex with an edelbrock carb. and the throttle cable is bad (slipping and a lot of slack). Should there be an idle cable (there's not one currently, it only has a throttle cable) on this quad. Should I get a stock (from honda) throttle cable work for this one or is there a special cable for the edelbrock carb? Do i need an idle cable, as well? Thanks much!!!

The edelbrock carb is nice- expensive. It's larger than the stock carb. I'd keep it and just replace the cable.

Edelbrock says they don't anymore carry the throttle cable that comes with the Edelbrock carb. Will the stock throttle work with the Edelbrock? Can u tell me a throttle cable that would work with this carb on the 2000 400ex? Thanks, again.
