Ever since I got this atv, in 06 and rebuilt it and stuff, the carb floods out. It idles fine in the yard, but you can go to the woods and it'll start smoking black smoke at idle, and eventually idle down and quit. Is my float too high, or does the carb just need adjusted? I adjusted the air mixture screw until it was running so lean it wouldn't take gas, and it STILL floods out at idle.

 

hmm sounds like your float is sticking or your needle needs adjusted.

 

I agree with knock...carb float rebuild kits are cheap and fairly easy to install too
