need some help, i'm trying to decide between a 300ex and a 400ex. they are both 2001 models and are all stock, besides an fmf pipe on the 300. i know they are both reliable and fast fourwheelers and they're about the same price. cant decide?!

 

Unless you just HAVE to have reverse, not even a contest.....400ex is a far better all around quad. The 300 is a great beginner quad, and is a blast to trail ride, but you will soon outgrow the power and be looking for more. The 400 has lots more power, better ride and handling, and will give you more bang for your buck if you decide to mod it. Don't get me wrong, the 300ex is a great quad, I loved riding my son's 300 on the trail, so light and easy to handle, but the 400 easily leaves it in the dust when the trail opens up. For the same money, I would not hesitate to buy the 400ex.

If there in the same shape and price the 400 is a more expensive model. Why buy a Honda Civic if you can get a Honda Accord for the same price.

 

get the 400ex you wont regret it

 

that's an easy choice- 400ex.

 

whats the price difference between the two? but yeah the 400ex produces 10 more horsepower and has a better performing chassis and suspension
