Hi im new to the forums here and was wondering on how to get the spark arrestor out of the stock 300ex muffler. i know it has 2 spot welds and it just a big pain in the butt.
any help will be appreciated.

why exactly is it that you would want to pull a piece of screen out of your silencer? It's quite a bit harder than 2 little (actually 3) spot welds if you ever want to be able to reuse it. I took one apart one time to add the screen to a silencer that I built and it ended up being a real PITA. You can just pull the end cap and cut it off if that's what you want but alot of places there are to ride require some sort of spark arrester... just my
