i have a 1989 honda trx 250x. i wanna know what the needle clip position on the carb should be set at. how many notches down from the top should it be set at? and how many turns back should the airmixture screw should be set at? please let me know thanks

 

If its stock go with the needle in the middle and the pilot screw 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 turns . Moving the needle up will make it leaner and down will make it richer . How does you plug look ? dark is rich and lean will be white to a gray . look for a medium brown to be safe
