450es won't shift

Unhappy 450es won't shift

hi folks, i have a 450es foreman automatic.my problem is it won't shift from 2nd or third gear into neutal or reverse , ihave to shut her off then restart to shift then its ok until the next time ,helpppppp anybody ....

what is the idle set at does it seem high if so turn it down until it shift properly upi also say its automatic i take it its either electric shift or hondas new automatic transmission and if its the new style transmission check all connections of wires on transmission

my buddys 450es would miss shift a lot, his was dirt and sand jaming the shift buttons. try spraying shift buttons with contact cleaner or wd40.

hi.country..many thanks for your suggestions, i will try what u said...btw. its a electric shift with button on handle bars..i also notice now after it was supposedly fixed the motor gets real hot,the valves was adjusted the night before all this happened cus she was smokin ..i don't understand what went wrong .and i can't get the guy who '''fixed'' it. the sob won't answer his ph......thanks again..and thanks to you roscoe..
