one of my buddies just picked up a near mint 200x it needs some wiring work though. someone had gone and cut most of the wires. ive never worked on anything quite this old im used to working on stuff with an all electric ignition system. i cant figure out how to get it to fire i know part of it runs off the cam but im not sure exactly how to wire it up if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated

 

Best thing to do is search for a wiring diagram online or (since it's gonna come in handy again I'm sure) you could order a repair manual for it. I'll get my manual handy and see if I can't help guide you through it!

Edit: just double checked and it does cover the 1985 200x.
