I have a 1994 Honda Fourtrax 300 that is having starter problems. The issue was intermittent at first with the starter not always engaging. When it began to not engage a lot, i started using the kick starter which seemed to work fine.

Over time the issue has begun to affect even kick starting with the kick starter not engaging most of the time now. If I kick and kick, eventually it will engage and start.

Could this be the starter clutch, one-way clutch, or possibly a flywheel issue?
