signs of bad diaphram

how can you tell if your carbs diaphram has any kind of hole or cracks in it
without taking it apart , are there symptoms i should be watching for and what
are they thanks i have a 2003 rincon 650 some one had mentioned to me that i might have a hole in mine but never said why

The diaphram lifts the slide just like a vacuum carb on a car engine. If the diaphram is cracked or has a hole you won't get full throttle and the engine will be sluggish to take fuel.
