how to get my timing chain off trx300fw
#3
Pull the valve cover off, then take the bolts(2 i think) out that hold the cam chain gear to the cam. Take the automatic tensioner off the side of the head, then pull the gear off the cam drop it down slightly to take tension off the chain so you can remove it from the gear, then pull the gear and cam out. It would be easiest to do this with the engine at top dead center.
If the timing chain isnt real loose or bound up, then you'll probably need to look elsewhere for your problem though.
