300ex flywheel

Default 300ex flywheel
I race mx on my 300ex and was wondering if anyone could tell me how much to shave off the flywheel to lighten it. i heard 3 to 5 mm but im not sure thanks!

On the 400ex you dont really feel a difference unless you take 4 oz. + off. A bigger carb would give you what you are looking for and still allow you to keep some torque.

dont know bout the fly wheel but you can run a 400ex carb on a 300ex....
